time.facebook.com is Meta’s (Facebook’s) public NTP endpoint, served from its global anycast network.
Like Google’s service, it applies a leap-second smear rather than a step, so it should not be combined with non-smearing time sources in one configuration.
| Hostname | Note |
|---|---|
time.facebook.com
| Anycast (global) |
Uses leap smearing like Google; do not mix with non-smearing servers.
